Ash is passionate about helping others feel their best inside and out. With a background in health and fitness, she moved to Carleton Place in 2015 to raise her son’s in a quiet close knit community. Upon arrival, The Granary became her hub for health advice and community connection. When the opportunity to join The Granary Team was presented, she jumped at the chance to further her knowledge of natural health products and protocols as well as be of service to a town and store that truly helped her heal. Currently, Ash is the voice behind both Granary social media accounts and deeply appreciates the opportunity to connect with others on their path to health, naturally.

Adapting or shifting to a zero waste lifestyle is one the fastest and easiest climate action strategies that communities can implement today to immediately reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A zero waste approach protects the health of communities by reducing pollution in the air, water and soil by keeping toxics and waste out of landfills and incinerators it also conserves natural resources and reduces pollution from extraction, manufacturing and disposal. By implementing proven solutions to rethink, refuse, reduce, reuse, repair, repurpose and recycle and by leaning on industry and business to redesign product and packaging, we can make a difference. At the Granary we are continuously looking for ways to reduce waste. With a zero waste refillery and a focus on quality waste free products we can help you reduce waste as well. We bring awareness to our suppliers and distributors we are pushing for green shipping practices and zero waste product packaging. Ask us how we can help you lower your waste and work towards a circular economy that saves money and protects our future generations.

Dena’s interest in good health started long before she purchased The Granary. As a believer in all things natural, Dena has always had an interest in living a healthy lifestyle. This interest extends beyond personal health to include the health of the community and the natural environment. As a passionate environmentalist, Dena has always tried to make a positive difference in her world. As an environmental engineering technologist, Dena spent the first part of her career outside, trekking, sampling, testing and measuring the natural environment that connects us all. After starting a family, it became imperative that life had to change; a switch was then made to take that passion and spread healthy living locally. Dena is happier than ever with her decision to be closer to home and family.
