Job Opportunities – Student (part time) – Posted August 5, 2025

The Granary is looking for its next student superstar. This is an exciting opportunity for a mature, outgoing high school student that has an interest in natural health and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate must be personable with strong communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a small team. A desire for continued education in the natural health sector is considered an asset.

Another valued team member here at The Granary is off to university, opening up an elusive student position on our small team. This position is perfect for a high achieving, independent student in Grade 9 or 10 looking for part time work in a customer service setting while excelling in their high school education. When not serving customers with a smile or processing sales transactions, this person is responsible for completing the daily closing tasks that include refilling and packing of bulk food and general cleaning duties such as doing dishes, mopping floors, wiping surfaces and garbage removal. Must be comfortable working alone for short periods of time and able to lift at least 10kg. Must be able to work starting at 3:00 on weekdays as well as weekends between 9 & 5 for a total of 12-18 hours per week (typically 2-4 shifts weekly).
